Inter Cheadle J.F.C. was formed in June 2007 and is run by FA Qualified Coaches and enthusiastic parents offering coaching for children at all age groups. Since its inception, Inter Cheadle J.F.C. has continued to prosper and now hosts some twenty-two squads from U7’s through to open age and has a thriving soccer school for children in school years Reception 1 and 2.
Through the commitment and passion of our local volunteers, in June 2010 the Club achieved the FA Charter Standard Award. In September 2012, the Cheshire FA awarded Inter Cheadle the Charter Standard Community Club award for grassroots football, the pinnacle of the FA Grassroots Club Development Pathway.
The award is a testament to how far the Club have some since its inception in 2007 with the tireless help of all the players, parents, coaches, managers, committee members and volunteers and without their dedication and hard work, it would not have been achieved. The award is presented to those Clubs who have raised their standards and lead the field in promoting best football practice, both on and off the pitch in grassroots football.
The FA Charter Standard Community Club award acknowledges the support Inter Cheadle JFC provides to the local community and their efforts to ensure the club offers opportunities for players to develop their skills and play football in a safe and positive environment. Achieving Community Club Status is one of the truest measures of success for the FA’s Football Development Strategy and Inter Cheadle JFC are proud to be one of only a handful of clubs in the region to achieve this ultimate FA Charter Standard goal.
Inter Cheadle J.F.C is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for young children and youths to participate in Association Football.
Our priority is to provide a platform for young people to play, learn and ultimately enjoy football. We place strong emphasis on youth development and provide a “ladder of football” enabling children to play through their various age groups. The Club is committed to ensuring that the player is central to all developmental needs and aspirations, to providing quality experiences for all players and we are committed to following the FA’s Child Protection guidelines.

Inter Cheadle Soccer School
The Soccer School is currently aimed at children in schools years Reception, 1 and 2. This initially involves some fun and enjoyable training sessions where children can learn new skills and build their confidence within team work.
The main object being to have fun!
Once in school year 3, the aim is to get them involved in playing within a mini soccer friendly league as U7’s (although this is dependent on league availability and coaching volunteers) and eventually representing the Club from U9’s in the Stockport Metro Junior Football League where, as well as a weekly training session they will be involved in weekly competitive football matches.
